Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Algo Roma Tech Solutions (“Algo Roma”, “we”) collects through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We are based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It does not cover data we handle for clients during an engagement. That is governed by the contract and confidentiality terms agreed with each client.

What we collect when you visit this site

This site has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts and no embedded third-party content. Fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font provider.

Our hosting provider, Netlify, records standard server logs when the site is requested: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. These logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. Netlify keeps them for a limited period under its own privacy policy.

What we collect when you email us

When you write to info@algoroma.tech we receive your name, email address, any organisation details you include and the content of your message, including attachments.

We use this to reply, to scope and quote for work you ask about, and, if we work together, to set up and run the engagement. We do not add you to a mailing list or send marketing email.

Legal basis

Where data protection law such as the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or the EU and UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

• Steps before entering a contract, when you ask us about an assessment or project.
• Legitimate interests, to answer general enquiries and to keep this site secure.
• Legal obligations, where we must keep business records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf:

• Netlify, which hosts this website.
• Our email provider, which stores and delivers our email.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside the UAE, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they become part of a client engagement, in which case we keep them for as long as our contract and legal record-keeping obligations require.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy,
• correct data that is inaccurate,
• delete your data,
• restrict or object to how we use it.

To make a request, email info@algoroma.tech. We will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We protect the data we hold with access controls, encrypted connections and the security settings our providers offer. If you find a security issue on this site, please report it under our responsible disclosure policy.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding analytics or a contact form, we will update this page and the date at the top.
